Refund Policy
All sales of food products are final. Due to the perishable and safety-sensitive nature of our products, Spicenza does not accept returns or exchanges for any reason once an order has shipped.
By placing an order with Spicenza, you agree to this Refund & Return Policy.
No Returns or Exchanges
- We do not accept returned food products under any circumstances.
- We do not offer exchanges, store credit, or replacements for:
- Taste or texture preferences.
- Change of mind or ordering the wrong item or quantity.
- Failure to read product descriptions, ingredient lists, allergen statements, or storage instructions.
Limited Refund Review (Quality or Shipping Issues Only)
In very limited cases, Spicenza may, at its sole discretion, issue a refund or replacement for a verified quality or shipping issue (for example, a wrong item packed or clear damage that occurred before delivery to you).
To be considered, you must:
- Contact Spicenza at orders@spicenza.com within 7 calendar days of the carrier’s documented delivery date.
- Provide your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and clear photos of:
- The product,
- The inner and outer packaging, and
- The shipping label.
- Keep the product and all packaging until Spicenza confirms that no further information is needed.
Spicenza may deny any request that does not meet these requirements or where information is incomplete or inconsistent.
What We Are Not Responsible For
Spicenza is not responsible for, and will not issue refunds or replacements for:
- Products that are delivered to the address provided by the customer but:
- Are left outside, in mailrooms, at leasing offices, or with third parties, or
- Are stolen, misplaced, or not retrieved in a timely manner.
- Heat or weather-related damage (including melting, texture changes, or bloom) after successful delivery.
- Delays, loss, or damage caused by shipping carriers, weather, or events beyond Spicenza’s reasonable control.
- Incorrect, incomplete, or unsafe shipping addresses entered by the customer.
Refund Method and Timing
If Spicenza approves a refund, it will be issued only to the original method of payment used for the purchase. The timing of the credit to your account may depend on your bank or card issuer, but is typically within 7–10 business days after processing.
Order Changes and Cancellations
Because orders are processed quickly to maintain freshness and safety, changes or cancellations are not guaranteed once an order is placed.
- If you need a change or cancellation, email orders@spicenza.com immediately with your order number.
- If the order has already begun processing or shipped, it cannot be changed, canceled, or refunded.
Food Safety and Product Handling
To help maintain quality and safety:
- Follow any storage and handling instructions on the packaging or product page.
- Once delivered, you are responsible for promptly bringing products inside and storing them appropriately.
